E-votional - Encounter: Another Form

"After this he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country."

Thought:

Other Forms. Other Visions. Other Types. Other. Another. Two people might have the same experience, yet see it in different ways.

Hear the Good News, as Christ comes into our life, it may be viewed and experienced differently, but the fact is, Christ has come and does change our life. In one of my readings, it was suggested that how we experience Christ suggests how mature our faith is. When Christ comes into our life, do we focus on what He has done for you or do you see who He is? It is a matter of what have you done for me lately or is it about who He is? One understanding relates to Jesus changing your life, the other changing the moment. My question I must and we all must struggle with is this, do I only allow Jesus in the moment, or do I allow Jesus to change my life.
Prayer:

Gracious God, come and let me recognize You and Your presence. Come and let my life be changed. Come and let me share You with others, that they might have their life changed. Come, oh please, come. Thank You for all that You have done in my life and all You will continue to do, for ask this through Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.
