Verse:
He said to them, '[f]or truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you'."

Thought:
Trees.  Majestically they reach to the earth.  They offer so many different uses for life.  They convert CO2 to oxygen, we use the pulp for paper, wood, the grains offer art, warmth through fire, livelihood to the logger and it community.  Trees are so important yet we forget and overlook them.  There is so much we can learn from trees.
Hear the Good News, like trees that grow from the smallest of seeds and reach high into the sky, so our faith that Christ is there for us, that God is in the world and that the Holy Spirit Sustains our life, starts from the smallest point of life and reach to pave the path of our present and future.  Our Faith in the world today can be overlooked, but it's existence or absence can be seen and felt.  Everywhere you look, you will see a tree.  Can you see your faith everywhere you look?

Prayer:
Gracious Father, just as the trees reach to the sky, help my faith grow in such a way that it too reaches to You.  Just as the trees of the earth supply and provide for our life, allow my faith to provide and supply my life as well as the lives of others.  Thank You for all You have done in my life, and all You will continue to do, through Christ our Lord I pray.  Amen.
