Verse:
Listen to me, you that pursue righteousness, you that seek the Lord.  Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug."

Thought:
You have heard the sayings, "the apple sure does not fall far from the tree," and "she sure is her momma's baby."  We are, of course biologically speaking, very much like our parents.  Our mannerism and personality, typically are like that of one of our parents.  They are where we came from.  They are our point of origin.
Hear the Good News, Christ is also our point of origin.  As we were created, we are created in our Father's image, our Creators image.  We are the image of God.  Now here is the fun part; discovering God's image within us.  Christ taught and through our experience of Christ, we continue to learn that God's presence and will is within us.

Prayer:
Lord, not only are You the Rock of my life and the one who makes my life complete, but You are where I begin.  Thank You for being such an important and complex part of my life.  Help me to see life through the eyes that reflect Your presence.  Allow me to be a blessing to others, that they might come to understand You better.  Thank You for all You have done in my life, and all You will continue to do, through Christ our Lord I pray.  Amen.
