Care.
Protection. Maintain. Celebrate. Share. These are all
promises that we are given from God. Keep is to care, to protect, to
maintain, to celebrate and/or to share. The Lord will Keep. Great
News?!
Hear the Good News, The
Lord is our Keeper.
The Lord will care, protect, maintain, celebrate, and share life with us.
The Psalmist, with this beautiful song, shares with us the passion God
has for us and the intimacy, the care God's passion
means to us and for us. God is the bookend of our life. He is with
us in the Darkness, the Dawn and the Dusk. Our whole life, our very
being is surrounded by his Presence. "From this time on and
forevermore.
Prayer:
Lord, You
are at my getting up and at my laying down. Your keep and care
are why my heart is happy, and why my life
is full of grace. There is nothing I can not handle. Thank You for
being my shade and my protector. Thank You
for all You have done in my life,
and all You will continue to do, through Christ our Lord I pray. Amen.
