All I want is to be in the light

THOUGHT:
   As I read this passage, I am reminded of a song by dc Talk that is so very moving.  it is called "In The Light"  The song is about being lost, not knowing yourself or where it is you are going.  This passage seems to give the answer for some of the 'puzzlement" that life can bring. 

"What am I doing?"

"What's going on inside of me?"

Life can be so confusing when we ourselves are lost.  But hear the Good News, Christ calls us to His side, shows us the way, the truth and the life.  When we understand this, we find that while we may have lived a "rough" life, while we may, at times, found ourselves in despair despising our own existence, Christ comes along and not only forgives us, but gives us a new life and a new direction, ushering us into the light.  So, walk in the light, as He is in the light, shine light the stars in the heavens,  Let the Lord be your light and be your salvation, all you have to do is be in the light.

 

PRAYER:
   Almighty and holy God, I want to walk in Your light.  Lead me, guide me and keep me focused in Your way.  Thank you for greeting me in love, changing my life and restoring me through Christ.  Please intensify my hunger to know you
and your Son more.  In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
