Drop It And Look Within

VERSE:

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

THOUGHT:

When we prefer to condemn others in the wrongs we ourselves can not face, we are the slave of GUILT. Guilt is the feeling from within that tells us we are not living up to who we are and what we are about. Further, it creates a cavern between who we want to be in our heart and the life we live out. It is cyclic, it consumes.

Hear the Good News, Christ came to earth and comes into our life to take that guilt from us. Christ leaves us with grace instead. Believe this, life is full of ups and full of downs. We will make mistakes, but we don't have to make them over and over. Guilt and sin in our life say, "why not, I did it yesterday, one more time makes not difference." Facing your own life and decisions at first may not be exciting, but in the process, you not only find Grace, but you experience the love, the grace and the peace of Christ. Break the cycle of guilt and sin by facing the things Christ needs to transform in your life.

PRAYER:

Father God, it is so easy for me to look and judge others because that means I don't have to deal with my own garbage. Forgive me, for looking the other way. Transform my life and help me to know you better. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
