VERSE:

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

THOUGHT:

There are few passages that are so helpful when it comes to making decisions for our life. When we, when I am on a journey, I want to know where it is I am going and how I am going to get there. When I am "traveling" I am going wherever the excitement and sites lead me.

Hear the Good News, God has a journey for us all, and it is our choice as to whether or not we accept it. The even better news is that as we are on the journey, God sees to it that the traveling is formational and no more than we can handle. We grow and are shaped into one who has the mind and heart of God. The journey and the traveling become blessings. Both lead to a closer and deeper relationship with God.

We, when we are out of touch with God, want to focus on the traveling and at times have no idea where the journey is taking us. "Sure I'll take first class tickets, and I don't care where I am going, or how I will get back." It may initially sound exciting, but at what cost. What journey are you on? Are you just traveling? How about calling upon the Real Travel Agent!

PRAYER:
