VERSE:

"I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. "For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions."

THOUGHT:

They approach you from every direction, they hunger, many are angry, and they see you as a tempting source of satisfaction. They see you as a possible answer to something they are missing. Maybe it is power, sometimes it is love, or even it is about a lack of self understanding, none the less you are to be their meal.

Hear the Good News, walking in Faith is about a relationship one has with God. Walking in faith is knowing you are not alone. Jesus, in His love, walked with us during the frightening times and during the exciting times. Moreover, He walks with us today, and will be there tomorrow.

Daniel had it rough, all the while he was remaining faithful to God's call on his life, those that hungered for him circled around him. There were plenty of chances for him to run, to hide, yet he stood talk, fast and upright. Daniel knew God, and had an intimate relationship with God. Daniel knew where he walked, God too would walk. And like Daniel, there will be people in our life that in their own journey, their own seeking of understanding, will seek to feast on all they can to fill the need in their life. But rest assured, that as they approach you, God is there and will keep watch over you. And though you may not understand at the time, looking back, you will see God and all of His glory.

PRAYER:

Glorious and Gracious God, you are awesome. You love, you care and protect. Help me to have a stronger faith, one that though it may be tested, fills my life with your presence. Thank You for the promises You keep and let me always be faithful and thankful of all You do. I praise you and thank you in the name of Jesus my Lord. Amen.
