VERSE:
...the Holy Spirit descended on him [Jesus] in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven:  "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."

THOUGHT:
Parenthood.  If you are not aware, I am going to be a father.  This is exciting.  As Amy & wait and experience this pregnancy it becomes more and more about anticipation.  What will the child be like.  A boy, a girl, one, multiple.  It truly is about anticipation.
As God spoke these wonderful words to his Son when Jesus was baptized, He must have been full of anticipation.  Watching, waiting and being with Jesus up to this time, God could not do anything else but express His joy, His Love.  This overwhelming sense of joy and happiness was the Spirit descending upon Jesus.
Hear the Great News, God wells up and brings us this great sense of joy and peace as we encounter Him.  As God dwells within you, know He was anticipating that very moment.  Each Day is full of anticipation, a day full of opportunities for you to reach out to God and say,  . . .

    I love you Daddy.

    Can you feel it?

    Can you sense it?

Say it from your heart, from you soul, and let today be another new fulfilling day!

PRAYER:
Abba Father, I thank You for making me Your child.  Thank You for the joy that You bring to me.  Please let me bring joy to You this day by being faithful to all You would have me do and by being all You would have me be.  In Jesus' name. Amen
