Verse:

"God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it."

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NRSV)

Thought:

New to the game, she looked around and wondered. "What am I to do? These people want this and these others that. It is not supposed to be that difficult. This is supposed to be a team effort." And here she was, leading, yet afraid to make the wrong decision. "Do what you think is right. Be true to why we are all here." And she did.

Hear the Good News, even in the most troublesome moments of our life, we need to understand God will not push us or place on us, more than we can handle. "David, she is about to have surgery and they are not sure of what will be found, what needs to be taken and what will be left. What am I to do?" What could be done? "Will I be able to handle it?" Of course she would and of course she did. By God strength and grace, the people in her life were there for her, being inspired by God, they reached out to the family and continue to do so. They all made it. We make it to, when we remain open for God to work in and through our lives, that we might not only get through the trials of life, but to be an instrument of hope for others trying and fighting to get through life too.

Prayer:

Gracious Father, as subtle as the wind underneath the wing of a bird, You life me up and strengthen me in my weakest moments. Even though I am just a child of life, You use me to make a difference in the lives of others. Thank You for all that You have done in my life and all You will continue to do, for ask this through Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.
